Precision Engineering & Manufacturing Solutions
Precision that keeps production moving.
Custom tooling, critical components and engineered systems for manufacturers who cannot compromise on fit, finish or uptime.
Precision
Engineered, measured, documented
Productivity
Less downtime per part
Partnership
Engineers working together
Engineering capabilities
Built around the requirement. Not the catalogue.
Choose the closest starting point. An engineer reviews the drawing, sample or production issue and defines the process route from there.

Before we cut steel
Nothing is manufactured until you approve the drawing.
For custom holders, reverse-engineered parts and fixtures, you receive a drawing or model showing the interface, geometry and clamping. You check it against your machine and your fixture. Changes are agreed on the drawing, where they cost a conversation instead of a batch.
- Interfaces confirmed against your actual machine
- Trade-offs stated rather than quietly resolved
- Changes handled on a revision, not absorbed silently
- The approved drawing retained so reorders match

Agreed, then verified
The dimensions that matter are decided before machining — never discovered at dispatch.
Engineering control
One accountable partner, from drawing review to final inspection.
Application review, in-house machining and grinding, coordinated specialist processes and documented inspection — so technical intent survives every stage of the route.
- 01
Application-first review
Machine interface, cutting conditions, tool clearance and the dimensions that actually control function, agreed before quotation.
- 02
In-house machining and grinding
CNC turning, VMC machining and cylindrical grinding under one roof, with heat treatment and coating coordinated through approved partners.
- 03
Inspection against the agreed list
Critical dimensions checked in-process and at final inspection, with reports supplied as ordered.
How CMTA works
A disciplined path from requirement to reliable delivery.
Clear stage gates so risks surface early, decisions are documented, and parts arrive fitting the first time.
- 01
Understand
Feasibility review of your drawing, model, sample or problem statement.
- 02
Engineer
Interface validation and tolerance agreement, then a drawing for your approval.
- 03
Manufacture
Machining and grinding in-house, with specialist processes coordinated.
- 04
Verify
Critical dimensions inspected, and trials on your machine where agreed.
- 05
Support
Approved drawings and routes retained so repeat orders match the first.

The same discipline, very different pressures.
Selected work
Proof, with the permission status shown.
Real requirements and documented execution. Where a customer has not yet approved a figure, you will find the method rather than an invented percentage.

FAQ
Before you send the drawing
The questions engineers and buyers ask before sending a drawing. If yours is not here, ask it directly — you will get an engineer's answer, not a brochure.
Still have a question?
Talk to Anita M.N, Managing Partner, or send the drawing and let the review answer it.
What does CMTA actually make?
Custom and standard CNC and VTL tool holders, precision components such as shafts, sleeves, bushes, test mandrels and balancing mandrels, jigs and fixtures, special-purpose machines, and precision cylindrical grinding job work. Where a requirement needs several processes, CMTA coordinates the route and remains responsible for the finished part.
Can CMTA manufacture from a worn sample when there is no drawing?
Yes — that is a routine starting point. The sample is measured and its function analysed, a drawing is developed and issued for your approval, and the replacement is then manufactured and verified. We state clearly which features were measured directly and which were reconstructed, so you can judge the confidence before committing.
How quickly can CMTA respond to an urgent requirement?
Urgent enquiries, particularly where a machine is down, are reviewed before anything else, and you receive a realistic delivery statement rather than an optimistic one. Published lead-time figures will appear here once CMTA has verified them against actual performance — we would rather commit to a date and meet it.
Does CMTA accept single prototypes and small batches?
Yes. Single prototypes, development pieces and small repeat batches are normal work. The approved drawing and process route are archived so a later reorder is manufactured the same way as the piece that was proven.
How are drawings and confidentiality handled?
Drawings, models and photographs are used only to prepare and execute your enquiry, and are stored in private storage accessible to CMTA engineering. An NDA can be signed before detailed drawings are shared, and no customer name, drawing or result is published without written permission.
What information should an enquiry include?
A drawing, sample or clear problem statement; the machine or application; quantity; and your delivery target. If you do not have all of it, send what you have — the technical review exists to identify the rest.
