Partnership

Complete solutions neither of us could deliver alone

CMTA brings precision machining, grinding, tooling and mechanical engineering. Partners bring machines, controls, automation, distribution or the customer relationship. The best work happens where each side owns a clearly defined part.

  • Scope agreed in writing
  • Your customer stays your customer
  • Pilot project before commitment
Section A-AComplementary scope, clearly divided

Best for

Organisations whose offer needs a precision mechanical partner

You send

Who you are and the collaboration you have in mind

You get back

A fit conversation, a pilot, then a written arrangement

How it starts

First conversation establishes fit before anything formal

The situation

Why most supplier partnerships disappoint

Not because of capability. Because scope, customer ownership and commercial terms were left as an informal understanding until the first difficult moment.

  • 01Unclear ownership of the customer relationship
  • 02Overlapping scope discovered at commissioning
  • 03Commercial terms agreed verbally and remembered differently
  • 04No agreed route for escalation when something slips

What you get

What working with CMTA actually delivers

Collaboration routes for OEMs, integrators, dealers, consultants and specialist vendors.

  • A written scope

Who owns which deliverable, who talks to the customer, how commercial terms work and how technical responsibility divides.

  • Protected customer ownership

A partner's customer remains the partner's customer. Information shared under a collaboration is used only for that collaboration.

  • A pilot before a commitment

A trial project tests the working relationship before either side signs up to something larger.

  • An escalation route

Agreed in advance, so a problem is handled rather than negotiated during a crisis.

Where this stops

The commercial model for each partner type is confirmed by CMTA before publication, so nothing on this page should be read as a standing offer of terms.

01

Where the fit is strongest

CMTA's own strengths are precision machining, grinding, tool holders, fixtures and mechanical engineering. Partners bring machines, controls, automation, distribution, specialist processes or customer relationships. The fit is strongest where a customer needs a complete solution and each party owns a clearly defined part of it.

02

What each partner type gains

  • OEMs and machine builders: a component and accessory supplier that understands machine tools from the inside
  • Automation companies and integrators: the mechanical core for cells and SPMs, with controls staying yours
  • Tooling dealers: locally manufactured holders and accessories alongside imported ranges
  • Consultants and plant engineering firms: an execution partner for productivity projects
  • Specialist process vendors: steady, well-specified work from CMTA's coordinated projects
03

Opportunity types

  • Component and accessory supply agreements
  • Joint SPM and automation projects with a defined scope split
  • Dealer and reseller arrangements for CMTA products
  • Referral of productivity, fixture and reverse-engineering projects
  • Approved-partner status for heat treatment, coating and other processes

How CMTA works with partners

Every collaboration starts with a written scope: who owns which deliverable, who talks to the customer, how commercial terms work and how technical responsibility is divided. CMTA prefers simple, explicit arrangements over informal understandings — they survive contact with a difficult project.

Customer ownership is respected: a partner's customer remains the partner's customer. Drawings and commercial information shared under a collaboration are used only for that collaboration, and NDAs are signed where appropriate.

How it runs

The route from enquiry to verified result

Each stage produces something you can check, and the drawing approval stage is yours to control.

  1. 01

    Fit conversation

What each side brings and where the overlap creates value.

  2. 02

    Pilot project

A trial order or project to test the working relationship in practice.

  3. 03

    Written arrangement

Scope, commercial model, confidentiality and escalation agreed.

  4. 04

    Ongoing review

Periodic check that the arrangement still suits both sides.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The questions engineers and buyers ask before sending a drawing. If yours is not here, ask it directly — you will get an engineer's answer, not a brochure.

Still have a question?

Talk to Anita M.N, Managing Partner, or send the drawing and let the review answer it.

What kinds of partners is CMTA looking for?

OEMs, CNC machine manufacturers, automation companies, tooling companies, system integrators, Tier-1 and Tier-2 auto suppliers, aerospace and defence companies, engineering companies and maintenance or plant engineering firms.

How is customer ownership handled?

A partner's customer remains the partner's customer. Scope, communication and commercial terms are written down before work starts.

Does CMTA appoint dealers?

Dealer and reseller arrangements for CMTA products are open for discussion, with the commercial model agreed case by case.

How do we start?
