Customers send us drawings before any commercial relationship exists. This page sets out where those files go, who can see them, what happens to them afterwards, and how to put a non-disclosure agreement in place first if you would prefer.

Attachments submitted through this website are uploaded to private object storage. They are not published, not linked from any public page, and not addressable by anyone who happens to know a filename.
They can only be retrieved through an authenticated internal route, which requires a CMTA administration account.
Access is limited to CMTA staff who need the information to assess, quote or fulfil your enquiry — in practice, engineering and the person handling your enquiry commercially.
Where fulfilling an order requires a specialist process performed by an approved partner, only the information that process needs is shared, and the partner is bound to keep it confidential.
If you would prefer an agreement signed before sharing detailed drawings, say so in your enquiry or email us directly. We can sign an NDA before you send anything technical.
Many customers send an outline enquiry first — enough to establish that the work is feasible and relevant — and share detailed drawings once an agreement is in place. That is a reasonable sequence and we are used to it.
Files are retained while your enquiry is live and, where it results in an order, for as long as needed to support that order and any repeat of it. Retaining the approved drawing is usually in the customer's interest, because it is what makes a reorder straightforward.
If your enquiry does not proceed and you would like your files deleted, ask us and we will do so.
Where you ask CMTA to reproduce a part from a sample, you confirm that you are entitled to have it reproduced. Whether reproducing a proprietary component is permitted may depend on agreements you hold with its original supplier.
That assessment is yours to make. CMTA can manufacture to your instruction but cannot advise you on your contractual position with a third party.
