Partnership

Who CMTA is built to work alongside

From a single precision component to a complete machining solution, CMTA's market is broader than tool holders. These are the organisations that collaboration tends to work best with, and what it usually looks like.

  • Seven partner categories
  • Exclusivity agreed where it matters
  • Size is not the qualifier

How it starts

Categories overlap — the conversation refines it

01

OEMs and CNC machine manufacturers

Component, accessory and tooling supply for new machines and field spares, from an ancillary that has grown up alongside HMT Ltd. and understands machine assemblies rather than just drawings.

02

Automation companies and system integrators

The mechanical core of cells, stations and SPMs — fixtures, locators, spindles, arbors and precision elements — with CMTA owning the mechanical scope and the partner owning controls and integration.

03

Tooling companies and dealers

Locally manufactured holders, sleeves, centres and accessories to complement imported ranges, plus custom holders engineered for a dealer's own customers.

04

Tier-1 and Tier-2 auto suppliers

Productivity tooling, fixtures and localised holders for high-volume machining lines, trialled on the line before any repeat release.

05

Aerospace and defence companies

Custom tooling, fixtures, precision components and reverse-engineered spares, with confidentiality and documentation built in, and approvals stated only where verified.

06

Engineering companies

The precision partner for holders, fixtures, grinding and reverse engineering that a general engineering shop cannot economically bring in-house.

07

Maintenance and plant engineering companies

An execution partner for obsolete-part replacement, retrofit and productivity projects at the plants you serve.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The questions engineers and buyers ask before sending a drawing. If yours is not here, ask it directly — you will get an engineer's answer, not a brochure.

Still have a question?

Talk to Anita M.N, Managing Partner, or send the drawing and let the review answer it.

Which category should we choose?

Choose the closest fit; the first conversation will refine it. Many partners genuinely sit in more than one.

Do you work with competitors of existing partners?

Where exclusivity matters it is agreed in writing as part of the arrangement rather than assumed by either side.

Is there a minimum size for a partner?

No. Fit and a clear scope matter considerably more than size.

How is confidentiality between partners maintained?

Information shared under one collaboration is used only for that collaboration, with NDAs signed where appropriate.
